Our Workmanship Warranty
90-Day Warranty
We guarantee our workmanship for 90 days from the date of service completion. If something we installed, repaired, or assembled fails due to an error in our work, we’ll return and fix it at no charge.
What’s Covered
- Installation Errors – Furniture assembled incorrectly, TVs mounted improperly, fixtures installed wrong, hardware not secured properly
- Repair Work That Fails – Drywall patches that crack, doors that become misaligned again, faucets that leak after repair, electrical work that malfunctions
- Quality Issues – Uneven surfaces, misaligned components, incomplete work, substandard materials we provided
- Structural Concerns – Deck boards that become loose, fence posts that shift, shelves that pull away from walls, railings that wobble
What’s NOT Covered
- Normal Wear and Tear – Paint fading over time, wood weathering naturally, caulk drying and shrinking, general aging of materials
- Customer-Supplied Materials – Defective furniture from the manufacturer, faulty parts or hardware you provided, materials that don’t meet specifications
- Damage After Our Work – Accidental damage by homeowner or others, damage from moving furniture, water damage from unrelated leaks, impact damage
- Misuse or Neglect – Overloading assembled furniture beyond manufacturer specs, failure to maintain (e.g., not sealing deck as recommended), using installed items improperly, modifying our work without consulting us
- Acts of Nature – Storm damage, earthquake damage, flooding, extreme weather events
- Changes Made by Others – Work modified by another contractor, DIY repairs or adjustments, removal and reinstallation
How to Make a Warranty Claim

Assessment
We’ll ask questions to understand the problem. For clear warranty issues, we’ll schedule a return visit within 3–5 business days.
Resolution
We’ll inspect the work and determine the cause. If it’s covered by warranty, we’ll fix it at no charge.
Follow-Up
After the repair, we’ll confirm you’re satisfied with the resolution and the issue is fully resolved.

- Follow-Up – For major projects, we’ll check in a few days later to make sure everything is still working perfectly.

Maintenance Recommendations
To get the most from our services and maintain warranty coverage:
Furniture Assembly
- Don’t overload beyond manufacturer weight limits
- Tighten hardware occasionally as it naturally loosens over time
- Follow manufacturer’s care instructions
Deck & Fence Repairs
- Seal or stain annually as recommended
- Clear debris from deck boards
- Inspect for damage after storms
- Don’t use harsh chemicals on treated wood
Drywall Repairs
- Allow paint to fully cure (24–48 hours)
- Address any water leaks immediately
- Don’t apply excessive moisture to repaired areas
TV Mounting
- Don’t hang additional weight on mounted TVs
- Don’t pull or lean on TVs
- Notify us before mounting a heavier/larger TV on the same mount
Plumbing Repairs
- Don’t use chemical drain cleaners excessively
- Address leaks immediately
- Follow any specific care instructions we provide
We’ll provide specific maintenance recommendations based on the work we complete.
Additional Protections
Insurance Coverage
We carry full commercial liability insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage. If property damage occurs during our work, our insurance covers it.
Licensed When Required
For work requiring licensed tradespeople (major electrical, gas, structural), we coordinate with licensed professionals or refer you to trusted specialists.
Permits When Needed
For work requiring permits, we’ll inform you and can assist with permit applications. Work requiring permits is done to code.
Manufacturer Warranties
Products we install come with manufacturer warranties. We’ll provide warranty information and coordinate warranty claims if needed.
